This structure was within a courtyard with an opening of 3.2m x 3.5m for access off a one way street. We had to detail and phase our loads so the steelwork didn’t exceed 7 metres in length and it was stacked on the bed of the lorry below the bulkhead. Originally we installed the shoring steelwork, followed by two towers below ground and tied together with two 21 metre trusses which had to be fully welded on site.
